Okay, I was thinking about posting, but I've been staring at this for 10 minutes. I should just go to bed instead. Good-night.

So today at work as I was wearing my cute little camouflage pants, a Curious George band-aid on my finger, and my blue Hammurabi t-shirt and listening to the Mortal Kombat soundtrack on my MP3 player while talking calls, I realized I am the geekiest geek that every lived. And you know what? I'm cool with that.

I went to Staples to get an ink cartridge for my printer. The guy in line behind me decided to try out the back massagers on me. Does this sort of thing happen often to thin women? Because, really, I never had random man grab my arm and try out back massagers for my opinion before.

I want to be someone else. I don't want to be me any more.

I like grocery shopping after midnight. It's quiet, except for the odd drunk or the occasional fight. The only thing I hate is that only one register is open. There was a line of about 15 people. It went pretty fast, but I wish they had the automatic check outs open. I like them better than fresh and blood cashiers. I'm not antisocial or anything. ( Read more... )

Last night after work when I was walking across the parking lot to my car, I looked up in the sky. The stars were perfect. I stopped for a moment and just stared at them. My entire life paused. The thoughts stopped spinning in my head. No more worries or plans. It was just a perfect moment of clarity and appreciation of beauty.

I think something is wrong with me. I don't know if I'm just anemic or what, but I have no energy. I thought at first I was just tired because of work and my days off have been hectic, but I don't think that's it. It's 10:30 and already I want to go to sleep. I'm usually up until 1. The sweetest kid called into work today. I'm guessing he was like 10ish. He was on the United Nations Council for his school, and he wanted to ask me some questions about conflict diamonds.
